Renowned actress Funke Akindele has agreed to let Wanni, a contestant from the current season of Big Brother Naija titled ‘No Loose Guard,’ join her film production team.
During a chat with fellow housemates on Wednesday, Wanni revealed her desire to participate in projects led by the acclaimed filmmaker.
She stated, “I aspire to be in productions by Funke Akindele and Kunle Afolayan.
“Funke Akindele is a big name. The standard of her films is exceptional, and she has established herself in the industry. She’s an original star.”
An X user, @GloriaNapier9, shared a clip of Wanni’s remarks and tagged Akindele, asking her to fulfill Wanni’s wish.
She commented, “@funkeakindele your highness ma. No one does it like you, please listen to our baby’s wish. Thank you in advance.”
Akindele responded positively to Wanni’s request by posting the video on X, stating: “I’ll be waiting. Wishing you all the best, dear.”
