Victoria Discusses Past with Shaun from Big Brother Naija
Victoria, a finalist from Big Brother Naija Season 9, has shared insights about her relationship with fellow contestant Shaun Okojie.
Initially, Victoria and Shaun entered the house as a couple, dubbed “Shatoria,” but later Biggie separated them.
Even though Shaun quickly got involved with Wanni after entering the house, there were speculations that he and Victoria had prior romantic ties before the competition began.
In a recent Q&A on X, Shaun refuted claims about any pre-existing romantic involvement with Victoria, asserting they never broke each other’s hearts.
During an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Victoria acknowledged that she and Shaun have a complicated history together.
She pointed out that their relationship suffered due to multiple trivial arguments during the lockdown period.
Victoria revealed that Wanni, who became Shaun’s girlfriend in the house, had inquired about her past with Shaun prior to their relationship starting.
“To be honest, Shaun and I had some disagreements while in lockdown, mostly over trivial issues. Once we entered the house, Shaun found a confidant in someone else, and I had to navigate my emotions alone,” Victoria explained.
“I entered the house with the mindset that I wouldn’t be attracted to anyone, as my standards are quite high. Upon arrival, I didn’t find anyone appealing. Even Wanni questioned the nature of my relationship with Shaun, and I clarified that there was nothing between us.”
