Chinwe Advocates for Changes in Eviction Process on BBNaija Season 9

A Season 9 contestant of Big Brother Naija, Chinwe, has suggested that Biggie should remove the power of eviction from both custodians and housemates.

This season’s rule enables the winning pair of the custodian challenge to have influence over nominations and evictions.

Furthermore, housemates not in the bottom four are occasionally given the opportunity to vote for the pair to be evicted based on the contents of the custodian box.

Chinwe expressed her concerns about the current eviction process during a conversation with other housemates on Monday, stating that it hinders full self-expression.

She called on Biggie to change the method in order to create a more open environment for housemates to freely express themselves without worrying about being evicted by their peers.

She remarked, “There’s too much power dynamics in this house, which prevents people from speaking their minds. The concept of having to make decisions about people’s fate in the Diary room is enough to unsettle you.

“Do you see where I’m coming from? Biggie should reconsider this process. Be genuine in your interactions. The idea of deciding someone’s fate shouldn’t make you reluctant to speak up to avoid being targeted by other housemates.”
