Big Brother Naija Season 9 Changes Rules for Housemates

The organizers of the reality show have made adjustments to some of the rules for the ongoing season of Big Brother Naija.

This season introduces new twists, including the Custodian Challenge, HOH ballot, and housemates voting for eviction of the bottom four pairs.

Prior to this change, Custodians had the power to influence eviction and the Head of the House ballot, and they were exempt from eviction while the Head of House was not.

Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced during the live show that Biggie has now eliminated the Custodian challenge and the HOH ballot and removed the power for housemates to vote for the eviction of the bottom four pairs.

Immunity for the Head of House has been restored by Biggie, but the HOH does not have the authority to “save and replace.”

Under the current rules, pairs will nominate each other for eviction, and viewers will have the final say through voting.
